Why Help?

Burwell Bash (the course) and BurwellBash.info are run by volunteers, all previous course members, who give their time for free. Prices are charged at cost price - we do not aim to make a profit. Any profit we do make will be used to fund the following year's course.

Please consider supporting us if you can, to help promote the tradition of folk music, especially amongst youngsters, in Cambridgeshire and beyond.

Help by promoting the course

We need to spread the word about our course to schools, music lessons and folk clubs (and similar places) in the UK (especially the South East). If you regularly visit any of these places, please spread the word!

Help by sponsoring a child

We are nolonger able to offer a discounted rate for children and students. This has had a knock-on effect on numbers of youngsters on the course, which is a great shame. We are therefore looking for sponsors to help reduce the fee for children.

If you would like to help a child participate in the course, please contact Stephen about contributing to a child's course fee.
