What is the Burwell Bash?

The Burwell Bash is the residential folk music summer school at Burwell House in Cambridgeshire, England. It takes place every August for one week. The course offers both instrumental and band tuition for players.

Tutors: Brian Finnegan, Ed Boyd, Jock Tyldesley, Sam Pirt. Previous tutors have also included: Zoe Conway, Liz Doherty, Kathryn Tickell, Catriona Macdonald, Ian Lowthian and Nancy Kerr.

Instruments / Tutors

Instruments: fiddle, flute/whistle, accordion and guitar
