Katherine was originally a student on the course and has gone on to become All-Ireland Champion in 2002 with the South Birmingham Grupai Cheoil.

Katherine has a wealth of festival credits and now plays regularly with bands in Bristol and Glasgow. She has taught at Burwell Bash since 2005 and has also been a resident tutor at the Boghill Centre in Co. Clare as well as at Bath Folk Festival.

Katherine is a patient tutor with intimate knowledge of the Irish tradition and offers structured tuition.
