Thanks to the generosity of the fabulous East Anglian Traditional Music Trust we have some fantastic news. It is with great pleasure that we can announce that for Burwell Bash 2019 we will have a subsidised place available to a young person who is under 25. This has only been possible through newly established Ruddock Bursaries. The Ruddock Bursaries offer a grant to 4 young folk artists under the age of 25 who have an interest in English Traditional Folk Arts be it musicians, dancers or story tellers in order to help them further their passion and ability. Very kindly, one of these bursaries has been ring fenced for Burwell Bash, allowing one young persons to attend at a subsidised rate.
Applications for a discout of up to £250 will be open to any Burwell Bash 2019 attendee who is under the age of 25.
You can apply for this discounted place by first emailing us at contact@burwellbash.info. to register your interest. Once booking opens and you have secured your place on the course you can write to EATMT with a brief summary of who you are, what you do, what your links to East Anglia are and what you would like the bursary to help you with. Please include proof of ID in your application. Please do not contact the EATMT until your place on the course has been confirmed.
